As we get closer to Keaton's first birthday, it seems like many of those baby characteristics are quickly fading away. The newborn who could not even stay propped up in the boppy is now motoring around the living room on anything she can hold on to. The eyes that seemed to study everything around her are now seeking out the next thing to explore. The newborn that whose desires at times seemed a mystery now tells us no when she does not want something. It is more than a little bittersweet. A year seems like a long time, but the days seem to slip through our fingers faster than we care to admit. There will be a lot of changes for all of us in the next month. Based on this video, my guess one of the biggest will be that our baby will start walking. . .
