Last Minute Gifts

Anyone who is looking for a last minute gift for Keaton needs to look no farther.  Evidently, we should have forgone all the toys and just bought her a mirror.  Here she is playing with one I got out last night.

Weekend Fun!

In honor of Grandma's birthday we all got together for a night of fun. .  .
We started at Krohn Conservatory for flowers and pictures.  Keaton thoroughly enjoyed the flowers, the trains, and the company.

Here she is running from the paparazzi.  .  .

Later on the same weekend, we had what I hope will become a holiday tradition-drive-in movie night.  We put movies on for the girls, had snacks and hung out.  It was a blast.

Thanksgiving Fun

We started off the holiday weekend by attending the opening night of Festival of Lights with Abbey, Adeline, and Augustine.  The girls got to ride the train for the first time by themselves.  As you can see they were extremely excited.

Unfortunately, Keaton had a bug on Thanksgiving day and did not feel well at all.  It gave us a good excuse to hang out on the couch for most of the day. She was a trooper at Aunt Layni's house and had a good time.

She was pretty excited by the popsicle that Aunt Layni gave her and let her eat over the very light beige carpeting.  Keaton was wonderful and sat with a towel as she carefully ate a popsicle.
Friday we had dinner with Cindy, Lindsay, Amy, Perry and Dave. Keaton was showing off her new moves from her yoga class with Lindsay.

BUSTED!!!!!!!!

I went to buy Larry's Christmas present last night. As we left the store I explained to Keaton that it was a secret and to not tell Daddy. At dinner, Larry began his quest to ruin his present by questioning me about it. Keaton dutifully told him it was a secret. Larry then asked her what the present looked like. She scrunched her nose and then said "secret had tennis rackets everywhere.".

Family Wedding

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Larry's cousin Josh got married.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had a wonderful time.  It also proved a great time to get a few pictures with all of us actually in the shot at one time!

Here is Keaton with Grandma watching the cutting of the cake. Between the dancing and the cake, Keaton thought it was a great night.

As a side note, Aunt Layni paid her auntly dues at the wedding and saved the night.  We will forever be in debt to her.

Halloween Conversation

Our pediatrician gave us some great advice that I am trying to stick with. He said that Keaton's language will change significantly over the next year and we should record a conversation with her at each holiday. So, I am posting the Halloween conversation along with a few funny quote from today.

Quote from today
Mommy get it. Keaton's hand are small.
