17 Months

I know this is extremely late but things have been a bit crazy around here.

At 17 months Keaton can:

  • Count to two-really if you hold up two objects and say one, she says two for the next.
  • Show you her eyes, ears, nose, mouth, knees, chin, elbow, toes, and hair.
  • She can say thank you, play, bye bye, meow, mama, dada, mamy (Amy), no, drink, eyes, nose, knee, ball, and baby so that anyone can understand them.  She can also say baah, meow, moo, and who when asked what the respective animal says.
  • Larry, Amy and I can understand the following words:  bath, dog, piggie, mouth, more, banana, milk, all done, be happy, please, down, orange, duck, and dog.
  • She can stack toys, put shapes in her shape sorter, and solve simple puzzles.
  • She requests to take a bath at least three/four times a day.
  • She loves to pour things from one container to another.
  • She can turn on the box fan in her bedroom when asked.
  • She picks things up off the floor and puts them in the garbage or the sink depending on which is closer.
  • Can open doors using the door knobs.
  • Understands when you ask her to put something on a table or under a table.
